SIU President Glenn Poshard held a town hall meeting for employees of SIUE Friday to inform and answer questions about the universitys budget situation in the Meridian Ballroom of the Morris University Center.Poshard told employees there was no need for furloughs or layoffs this school year, but if the state budget situation does not get better, he cannot say the same for the coming years.

Drexel Universitys Residential Living Office will be enacting an overflow housing plan to ensure that all incoming students have a place to live for the forthcoming academic year.
