Under Governor Tom Corbetts proposed 2011-12 budget, which slashes state funding to public universities by 51.4 percent, Slippery Rock University would face a deficit of $22 million. “Sort of makes our $8.9 million issue of last year seem reasonable, almost desirable,” SRU President Robert Smith said at the budget information meetings held Tuesday and Thursday, which over 700 staff, faculty and students attended.

The University Board sent out a press release Tuesday night announcing Far East Movement and Mike Posner to be this years performers at the spring concert.Far East Movement is most known for their songs “Girls on the Dance Floor” and “Like a G6.

As the judges tallied their scores and announced their decisions, working their way up the age groups, the Youngstown State University cheerleading squad nervously awaited its fate.

A new start for Williams at GSU

On March 1st, Williams will officially begin his second tenure as head coach at one of the most respected football programs in the nation and I cant say that Im surprised by the mixed reaction from Gramblinites worldwide. Students confess secrets
