Ahh … the joy of heading home for Thanksgiving!

For hundreds of students living on campus and around Shaw University, going home for thanksgiving is no doubt a welcome break!Not only are the Shaw students grateful that it is Thanksgiving, the break means a whole lot to many. For one, it means that, academically the break marks the closing of a long and stressful fall semester. However, there is a renewed anxiety and anxiousness stemming from upcoming finals week.

This spring, while away at college, my son racked up $278 in bank overdraft fees on his debit card account.? The actual charges were relatively small, $10 here, $20 there and before he knew it, he had a financial train wreck on his hands.?
