Capping off Black History Month, Grambling State Universitys Department of Theatre Arts presented the play, The State of Mississippi and the Face of Emmett Till written by Mamie Till Mobley and David Bar III. The story of Emmett Till is one that still pierces hearts and minds to this day.

Chick-fil-A controversy continues

Chick-fil-A, one of Northside Dining Terraces three main restaurants, has recently met opposition by gay rights groups due to the actions of one restaurant in the chain. Recent media coverage has revealed the controversy in which a Chick-fil-A restaurant donated food to a Pennsylvania-area marriage seminar earlier this month sponsored by the Pennsylvania Family Institute.
