Drexel professors Arye and Harel Rosen recently received a $100,000 grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to support their development of a portable, low cost phototherapy blanket to treat jaundiced infants.Arye Rosen is the Drexel academy professor of biomedical engineering, and his son, Harel Rosen, is a neonatologist with Onsite Neonatal Partners, an organization that provides neonatology staff to hospitals that contract with it.

Moving to Philadelphia can be an adjustment, but not for Drexel President John Fry, who said he feels like he never left.Despite almost eight years in Lancaster as president of Franklin and Marshall College, Fry said he maintained many old relationships and connections in Philadelphia, often making weekly visits to the city to meet with old friends.
