Men’s basketball ends with a win against Hannibal LaGrange

Unlike the majority of the 345 NCAA Division I basketball teams in the country, SIUE can say it ended its season with a victory.The Cougars did not win the NCAA tournament or any of the other three post-season tournaments. What they did accomplish was an 84-55 victory over NAIA Hannibal LaGrange to push their record to 8-21 finalizing their three-year stint as a Division I Independent.

HBS Soccer Club Strong Showing In Austin

As SIUE walked off the court following a 27-point loss to Purdue last season, it left the Cougars exhausted.Forward David Boarden sat down with now-graduated guard Aamir McCleary to discuss how SIUE lost. SIUE played the fourth ranked team in the country close in the first half before the Boilermakers pulled away to easily escape on national television.
