Sigma Alpha Omega and Kappa Upsilon Chi are just like any other sorority or fraternity at GCSU, except unlike other Greek affiliations SAO and KYX are centered around Christianity. SAO: Abby Bryant, president of SAO and a senior marketing major, thoroughly enjoys being a part of SAO and the common bond in Christ that helps form the sisterhood.

Although GCSU prides itself on diversity and catering to a wide range of people, there are still those individuals that manage to stand out among the rest. Bill Brinegar, a computer science major, offers GCSU the perspective of an age past.Brinegar has been attending GCSU for four years, but the interest seems to rely not on what he is doing but rather on what he has done.
