If you ask most people in Chicago where a local farm would be, they would mention some rural town at least an hour and a half away. But there is actually major support for urban farming in the city, helping to make very local, clean, and natural farming a viable option for stores and consumers.

UIC’s new farmer’s market

Its time once again for the Taste of Chicago! In its 30th year, the festival includes 53 restaurants featuring their signature dishes as well as new surprises to sample and enjoy. Located in Grant Park, the Taste continues until July 4th.
