With a new slate of reality TV shows such as Pawn Stars, Ax Men and Modern Marvels that attempt to add a little drama to TV education, the History Channel is doing its best to shed its reputation as “the Network of Old Bearded Dudes.” So perhaps I should have seen a show like Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy coming.

The show Jeopardy! aired normally this past Monday through Wednesday with its usual three contestants. However, the contestants themselves were anything but usual: competing were 74-game-in-a-row winner Ken Jennings, the biggest all-time money winner Brad Rutter and the contestant who beat them, Watson, who did not have a brain, and who could be considered both blind and deaf.

On a trip to Bermuda in July, high school sweethearts Kristin Valva and Billy Katsourakis got engaged. After hiking two miles and climbing a steep cliff, he knelt down while she wasnt looking with a box in his hand, and she said yes. They carved their initials in the cliff and plan to return to that same spot in 10 years.
